The glass forms trapped within the rubber morph from bottle shape to sperm shape, as the pregnant container vessel changes into male potency. Yet one of the greatest attractions these pieces have for me is the implicit deception in the material, how the backlit and illuminated rubber and glass look like cast glass, still hot from the furnace, yet is clearly cold and flexible in its rubber-quality., |
